THE PREPARATION

Whole-Plant CBD, Prepared by Traditional Alcohol Maceration.

CBD-dominant hemp flower and leaf are submerged in organic cane alcohol and left to macerate for six to eight weeks. During that time the preparation is gently agitated to encourage even extraction. When maceration is complete, the plant material is pressed and the liquid is filtered. What remains is the whole-plant tincture. The alcohol serves as both solvent and carrier. Nothing else is added.

Before bottling, each batch is tested for cannabinoid concentration. If a batch falls below the target concentration, it may be concentrated by gentle evaporation. If it runs high, it is brought to target with the same organic cane alcohol used in the preparation. The adjustment materials are the preparation materials. Nothing else enters the bottle.

Batch Character

Because this is a whole-plant agricultural preparation, flavor, aroma, and color may vary slightly from one harvest or batch to the next. These natural differences reflect variation in the plant material and do not alter the stated cannabinoid concentration, which is confirmed by batch testing.
